Flubyux: The blades don't look good to everyone. Sawblades you have to get used to. So most people off the street would agree with you. I just want to keep it factory until i find something good enough to swap them with.

Razoe: I agree the lip would be great if you can get the lip to sit down completely level. It bugged me how i couldnt seem to do that. It is the easiest lip to install though lol. 2 nuts/bolts hold it on.

The Dude: Yep thats where i got the stickers. Here is his thread
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51801. I posted another pic of the sticker in there.

Hey flub almost every lip has the holes. If there ever was one without, its rare. Even the stock JZA70 lip had holes so i think you're out of luck. And com'on real supras have holes!

the sawblades are "classic" but i wouldnt go so far as to say its pleasing to the eye. some things will just have an intrinsic value, regardless of how hideous or unstylish they may be. a Porsche 914 is one of those... and lets be honest, its NOT a good looking car! a White package supra w/ sawblades is just a classic setup. but if intrinsic and sentimental value was set aside, id think pretty much everyone would pick the white package mk3 with non-stock wheels. there are the odd balls out there that actually Like small, narrow wheels w/ flat faces, no dish and no lip though. like, Old people; they dont want to see the brakes on a car. they think its ugly and should stay hidden.

i coulda swore i saw a shine lip that was hole-free, but maybe not. IMO, when im doing a 5th gear pull across a 7-mile, 4 lane-wide bridge, i want as LITTLE air going under my car as possible.. know what i mean?

I agree with you 100%. Thats the reason i don't mind them because of the classic look and because they are factory. They aren't exactly eye catching other than being a slice of the 80s. They will be changed eventually.

I looked around a bit through the shine stuff didn't find one. I thought the TRIAL lip was holeless but i looked again it still has vents.

oh and guys......

I had an accident today. Car is banged up. Bumper is scuffed to hell, the nose cone went under the bumper a bit, the blinker covers shattered.

I can't win.

Traffic was stopped at a light. The right hand turn lane was open and I was going to make a right.

There was a driveway to a shell on the right of this lane. So I was just cruising down the right hand turn lane toward the light and all of a sudden a woman in a DTS Caddilac flew in front of me making a left into the station.

I didn't see her coming. A big truck on my left blocked my view of what was going on up there. She was waved through by the truck driver and made the turn blind.

She took a chance and lost basically. I hit her on the front right. Her fender is destoryed, bumper is ripped and mangled, wheel is marked up. Ill take a pic tomorrow of my car.

The cop knew it wasn't my fault and I have the report and everything. I have full coverage so it will be fixed. Haven't talked to the insurance company yet.

I had like a 1/2 second to react. But i managed to slow myself a tiny bit before impact.

Just don't know the detail until tomorrow. When he said i was free to go it looked like he had his ticket book out. So im pretty sure she got charged with something.

If thats the case i should be fully compensated.

^Yep its fully covered. Deductable is waived. I got a quote from a body shop that the insurance company wanted me to go. It was around $1500 in repairs assuming nothing needs replacing. I really do think the nose cone is toast. The bumper is repairable but is banged up a bit.

I get a rental car and im taking it to the body shop my friend took his car to in the pics. He's very good.

And thanks dexter. I saw your post over there too. The cars in the prelude of the month section are crazy! I spent a while looking at them

yeah, im VERY paranoid about that kind of shit happening to me. there is a gas station with that kind of scenario EVERY time i go out there. traffic is lined up right in front of the station on the corner, im always in the right-turn lane thats open and speed limit is 55 there. so by law, i can do 55 up to the corner if i want to, past the gas station. and of course, every other time, someone gets waved thru the line by a "Good samaritan" and i have to coast up that lane covering the brake pedal. there are actually TWO driveways in 500 feet that i have to watch for.

i feel your frustration man... i hope it works out.

The real 3.0 gt turbo decals can be had for only $40.00 from champion toyota. In addition those copies are wrong. They are missing the red part on some of the writing so they do not even look authentic.

^DAMMIT! ill have to look into that i would have prefered the real ones.

The red part is the "A" is it not? The A isn't there on purpose as I don't want to label it as a Turbo A.

Thats exactly what happened. I let my gaurd down wasn't thinking about it usually im cautious. I had zero visability so even if i was being careful it still could have happened. I wish lefts were illegal so close to traffic lights like that. 55 is fast sounds very dangerous.
