lol... go the tsrm and read up on replacing the clutch. if you find it for a good price and you trust the vendor.... go for it and tell us about it. i have the same problem. i just disconnect it when it gets cold outside and reconnect it when it gets hot. messes up my gas mileage but i enjoy staying cool in the heat.

Doesn't add up. If energizing the clutch turns on the compressor then the clutch is fine, working as designed. You need to look elsewhere.

You need to trouble shoot the control logic that actuates the clutch.
