Welcome to the supra build :D

So as many of u prob know my supra went away for a headgasket to apparently a good garage in my area. (or so i thought) was told they were the best.

got the car back they delivered and i went to start it. hmm bubbled and cut straight out. no fuel.

got some fuel put it in and then tried again started but missed like a biatch i as u can emagine was not happy. so 4 days pass with crap weather. i attempt to start the car bubbles then cuts straight out. then try again massive bang from exhaust (overfueling?)

stop the car. the 1 day i'm off work my mates came over to help. thus the story begins

so first we thought hmm these vacuums are on wrong. then realised wait spark plugs arnt firing lets start there. and off we went :D

sludge everywhere. so we get out the hair dryer and the paper towels clean and dry everything its taken about 10 hours to get everythin done but we've done that and checked all timing thats right so only things missing are vacuums and now i'm needin new plugs turns over and starts ok but revs up itself and then cuts out. but sounds normal when she's reving now.

great fun.

so i'll update when i'v got the sparkplugs and leads and see if she'll start :D woop woop

then i can start on the mods

idle control valve doesn't have any vacume line's going to it,just coolant.it does have a big hose that connect's to the accordian hose via a metal pipe.

Hey my first post (im the ugly guy with the cheesy grin in the first pic btw)

Well that was a fun night, every spark port was fill with water and as you can see from the pics tottaly trashed the leads and the pulgs had to be cleaned for over an hour to get them dried and useable again.

Next stage for this before we go any further or spend any cash has to be a compression check i think if although the engine seems to turn over fine if the heads lifted due to the mupet using the incorrect torgue settings then were fighting a loosing battle anyway.

we shall keep this updated.

Also i drive preludes and find them much easier to work on :D bloddy engine is so far from th edge i need to grow three or four inches :D

heres a vid of the car startin turn the volume up and u will hear a weird click before it tries to start. like i get a click it starts then it cuts straight out. strange like. also my fuel pressure vsv has a vacuum missing. both pipes are connected but the actual circle bit on the top is gone. sorry don't know the technical term for that. but big black circle thing if any1 wonders. :D any ideas anyone?

i'm killin my self trying to figure this out
