Still seems odd that your tach would be off by 500 RPM at that point.

It's just because it's revving up so fast :icon_razz

break traction and bounce off the rev limiter before the tach even gets there...

our tachs are pretty accurate for an OEM one though...

I don't have a rev limiter. :] Well... it's higher than stock and I haven't bothered to keep revving past 7500 to see where it is.
