hey guys which is the best way to go. I just want to upgrade my ct for now.would it be better to buy one from 935 or send mine to MDC and have it upgraded.

i havent heard many ppl rebuilding ct-26 by 935. i dont know ne one who has that turbo for what is it now 600+, it has a 46 or 47 trim.
i'd bring it to jon at MDC mainly because that what he specializes in and has done a millinon for the community and he uses a 57 trim which is way better for about the same price.

I think 42 trim is stock... look at MDC's latest thread on flow for the ct26 - I sent my turbo to him, and zero regrets.

MDC does concentrate on turbo work, so certainly that is a good choice. The ability to talk to the builder is a big plus.
Our turbo is good if don't want any downtime. We keep core turbos in stock and ready to ship out at a moments notice. There is never a core charge, though the cost of the turbo is higher. We can provide any trim you desire, but we choose a smaller trim for daily driver duty and to keep the spool stockish.

well i have delt with 935. robs a good guy..
havent ever bought from MDC, but if i needed a turbo he would be the one i'd chose.

We don't ask for customers to send in turbos. We already have them on hand. Build time is 2-3 days typical, unless you ask for special services.
I bought a car from MDC... So I give him first dibs on all my business; I'd go with him over anyone else.. Outstanding guy, class act all the way.
