I tried looking for the link but couldn't find it, does anyone have any video/sound clips of this system?

I have the 3" Chinaman exhaust and it sounds the same as my stock exhaust with a 4" tip Megan Racing Turbo Muffler and 3 " downpipe.

I would post a video but I dont have any and my car is in my back yard stored for the winter :-( and it doesnt look like winter is going to go away without a fight.

I can get a pic. I just have to dig out the rear. I personally didnt like it.

I dont know if it was because of my mounting or just the design... It is a china part :icon_conf .
The problems I went through when installing it was that it hit my driveshaft. Then I had to remove one of the hangers to drop it. Now it sits like <2" from the ground and I scrape almost everywhere. Then I noticed it came out too far out of the bumper... too much for my liking. Not to mention it looks like it does like a 90 degree bend and the grapefruit launcher is facing the left of the car. ( over exaggeration)

The good part about all this, EVERYONE notices it because its super shinny. I recommend wearing sunglasses if you're installing it outside on a sunny day. :icon_bigg .

Oh and yes it is v band.

Do you like the sound of it? Would you recommend it to anyone, I like the price, can you really compare it to the RSR setup?

IMO the sound is not fantastic but at the same time it doesnt sound bad at all.

I havent heard the RSR personally I just recently bought a used setup and havent installed it so I cant compare it yet. My brother, however, has heard it in person and said the RSR sounds A LOT better and of course looks better because of fitment. (a $500 set up better fit right!)

Yeah I recommended it but keep in mind that it is a china brand and you really do get what you pay for. Its not the best fit but it still doesnt look too too bad. The sound is not shitty like those pepboy brand fart cans. It sounds fairly clean and consistent, no slapping sound.

But like I promised I will try to get pictures atleast. Once the snow stops I will take the cover off of the rear just enough for you to see what the exhaust looks like. Hopefully tomorrow afternoon.

But for the price you cant really beat it if your not to concerned about the R&D.

By the way I have that and a Megan Racing downpipe, dont know what it sounds like with a stock DP.

most people go for the slanted muffler look.crazybob, you running a stock cast manifold?the exhaust will sound very different on a car with a tubular manifold.

Yeah Im running a stock manifold. I know people go for the slanted look, thats why I bought it. I hear orignially that it did that. But for some reason this exhaust looks super slanted. Too much I think. Thats the reason I bought the used RSR instead.

So when I got out of work today I went to my back yard to uncover my black car...no luck. It snowed so much and so icy last night that the car cover is frozen to the ground. I would try harder but Im afraid Ill rip the cover.

But if you're just going to weld on another muffler I say go for it. I just didnt like certain things about it, but over all its not a bad system. Not to mention you modifyin it will make it a lot better.

Whenver I can take a picture I will just I cant now. Sorry.

Well I guess my brother had a picture. Well that one kind of shows how much it sticks out, you need to see it from the top and directily behind to see the way it sits.

Personally the RSR sounds better and looks better with the 4 inch tip. I heard it on a 1JZ on stock twins. This thing sounded like a beast and was crazy loud.

This exhaust isnt really that worth it unless you want to mod it to make it fit. You DO get what you pay for...

the RS*R sounds good, I just don't like the way it looks on the car. Mind you I've only seen it on one, but it stuck out about as far as the ChinaMan in the picture posted above.

Anyone with a RS*R, does your exhaust stick out far past the bumper, or is it more recessed under the bumper?
