Hello everyone, thought I should put up a bit of a build thread,
Ive always wanted a supra and a jz, so heres the start of my project
My original plan was to put my 1jz into the silver supra (which shows up in the photos later as a donor car) an 86 ma70 auto, then i found the black 89 ma70 which has only got 87,000kms on it and decided that this would be a much better base to start with.
I purchased a Jzz30 soarer engine and auto with uncut loom

Engine dropped in
Had lots of fun putting it in with the auto attached, and without droppin the cross member.
Also didnt quite like the way the mounts were working so I made my own later on. Im using 2jz alloy brackets and made the rest to suit.

Thanks :)
Its nothing special, pretty rough in fact, but is being done my way to suit me, which mean go before show. everything else comes later.
These pics are a bit old now and are before I started any of the wiring.
And thats my good mate Brett in the pics who has been a great help with motivation and assistance.

Feel free to ask any questions or for more pictures etc

Drove it for the 1st time last night...
all of about 10 feet!
It wouldnt skid though
But progress is progress
Gearbox mount and crossmember in (modified supra gbox xmember to work with soarer rubber)
Gear selector linkage shortened and connected
Throttle cable sorted (used a Toyota Widom cable)
Still working on wiring (or not working on which seems to be the biggest problem)
Waiting on parts now:
Intercooler piping, 3" Down pipe, Facelift bumpers and tail lights new guards and doors etc

All good man, I can understand that.
I have been to hence not much progress on my Supra ( I should stop working on my mates various projects intead of my own.)

B1, B2, C1, EB1, EB2, M1 (If you could that would be great)

But mainly the
IK1, IK2 AND IJ1,IJ2 plugs

Its in your thread http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43888

Also I heat shrinked my coilpacks as an experiemnt, and it helped for a short period of time, But im going to epxoy them and see if that fixes the problem permanently (especially before they start having to deal with boost as well)

I believe that is out of the chaser. The soarer has a mid sump and supra has a rear sump.

what do i need to get a chaser 1jz into an 88 supra?

thanks
