Hey guys, just want to update the progress of my car. Been working on building the oil pan. Also got my block back from the shop all cleaned.

Here is the new engine block after getting it back from the shop. This is the bare metal with no paint, It will be black after it gets bored over .40
Looks nice and clean. Why .040 over bore? Was it already bored or are you just looking for a little extra displacement?

I only had them clean it because I got to install a plug in the block for the oil system, didn't want to work with a dirty block. Once I get the plug in and make the toque plate it will get bored.

Update May 28,08 . Finally got the MOMO seats mounted, on Sparco mounts and sliders. The sliders bolted up nicely on to the MOMO T frame seats, thanks to suprasport.com. I also received my Bomex lower three hole lip, sidskirts and rear add on's for the stock bumper. I'm need to buy the new rear bumper from Toyota so i can add and glass in the rear add on's. Torque Plates are used for boring out the block. It bolts down to the top of the block to keep everything straight while the block is bored. The plate it torqued down to the specs of the head studs or bolts, as if the head was on the block.

The car is going to be painted gun metal gray, the front bumper has no paint on it,as for the side skirts.The bumper is brand new from Toyota.
