91 Mk3T vs SRT-4

My mods - downpipe and cat back, other than those all stock.

11:00pm -I decide to go move my car in my lot from the street. I cruise around letting the car warm up. Took exit to go on highway.

Cruising on the dead highway tonight listening to the radio and both windows down - I like to do this, it's relaxing,

I soon see a white SRT-4 speeding on to the highway and gets right up behind me...Im cruising slow...I could hear his bov very loud...revving alot. sounded like a whip being lashed. Kwa-chsshhhh...

So i decide to just go fast and put it in 4th and go. I see the SRT-4 keeping up right beside me, not quite at my door yet and slow down at about 120ish.

I slow down for a real run, I started in 3rd, he honked 3 times and we both went. I just pull away slowly but pull more as he shifts and I still have more rpm to go. In 4th, he is still keeping up, but being behind me tho. I stop after 130ish, but he keeps going 0_0...

It was good fun run, SRT-4s are pretty fast and respectible I guess. I think he had about the same mods as me.

I plan on getting mods in the spring, that include - ZoonDDP, and some intake. It's fast enough for me as of right now. lol =D

RTA, that was a close race, you were ahead and keeping up then I see all of a sudden you jump back and the SRT is instantly ahead...what happened?

I killed a SRT as well...they are having a rough year:biglaugh: Its a good thing you raced him on the highway...they are alot faster from a dig than a high speed roll.

and i have one question, why are bovs are SRTs so loud? Like in the beginning of the video, the SRT barely moved and the blow off was noticably loud. I used to have a GReddy type S but could'nt really hear it until higher rpms...I had a intake at this time also...

ya no shit, went to visit a friends place in seattle and we saw a black srt pull up to a cofee stand and when he went to back out of a parking spot you could hear every time he let off, psh psh psh psh, put it in first, psh wait for kid to cross, pshhhh

the SRT4's have a little plate that goes where the stock bov goes and it goes off at vacumm if u let off the gas. Its annoying as fuck believe me I know. THats gonna be the first thing that gets changed soon .
