Alright everyone. It is now time for some good news, and also some pictures of the engine bay which is ready for the swap minus the throttle cable I need. Still need to figure out what year Camry I can pull a throttle cable from.

Little relocation of the fuel pump relay:
it will be hidden when I put the fender lining back in.

Finally after getting the motor and everything sorted out I started the process of putting the motor in.

This picture is of the motor before being ready.

The motor is out of a Toyota Chaser from Japan. I ordered one from a Supra but didn't get it, I decided to just keep it because the two week hassle was enough for me. As always there are problems, but my only problem with the motor was the oil pan as dented in. So I got a 100.00 refund on that and I just bent it back. It bent the oil pick up to, just a little.

The when I removed the pan I found this:

Yay metal in my motor! That is what I ordered. I don't really care much, I want the motor to run for a few months and then it is getting a 2jz bottom end.

Got the motor in the car.

Well after deciding I am not goign with the twins I am now currently removing them. I suggest doing this before the motor is in. I took the motor back out to do this. Lucky these 1jz's are easy motors to work with.

So the 1jz with have a single on it, in a few weeks.
