Well, initially I was going to do a 7m turbo harness, but I have an NA 2jz harness, and I have the original NA harness from the car. I've decided I'm going to build a hybrid 2jz-Ge harness that plugs in the car, add wires for three waste spark coils, and use the factory distributor wiring to run TT cam and crank sensors. Ill weld a cam sensor bung on the head, and go TT cams, and a TT oil pump and crank trigger wheel. I am using AEM for engine management anyway. I picked up a precision 74mm with a GT wheel for 200 bucks. I also managed to score a 2jz-GE from an SC300, complete at pull a part, from a wrecked car with about 100K miles. I will be putting a new TT rotating assembly in the block that I picked up cheap. I have my R154 now, ACT stage 3 extreme duty clutch... I still need a 1jz flywheel and bellhousing though. 7m is stripped out of the car, and unnecessary stuff is already gone. So, progress is being made for sure.

Subbed, I plan on doing this very swap in my MK3 with a 2jzge coming from a 98 SC300, which apparently has coils instead of a distributor if i am not mistaken so I am bit confused on how that is going to work out. I am going to get a new wiring harness from Tweak'd to make life easier instead of using two old harnesses mixed together lol. What are your hp goals?

So, I've got an 80K mile R154, I ordered my 1jz bellhousing and flywheel from my favorite local toyota dealer (576 for both of them). I picked up a brand new TT rotating assembly from a guy who bought a new shortblock and went 3.4 stroker, so I have a brand new 0 miles crank, rods, pistons, rings, bearings, thrust washer and a new stock TT head gasket. I have to make or locate a cam sensor bung to weld on the cylinder head now. I also grabbed a stock TT intake, to mate up to the GE runners. Picking up my turbo in a few days, a nice 76 billet precision...

Then, I need to sell some parts for more funding... LOL. Wishing this R154 swap I've got would sell.
