I was working on my car and now it wont start..

I seem to not be getting fuel, but I am getting spark. I have no CEL when the key is on, but I think that's a separate issue, seeing as I still have spark.

Looking at wiring diagrams, it seems the only place where all six injectors could be affected is +B. I have power at the check connector, and the body harness to engine harness plug (engine side of firewall, not by ECU, haven't checked that), but I haven't checked for 12 volts at the fuel injector resistor. Something is telling me that somehow I'm not getting 12 volts there. Anywhere else and it could only affect 2 injectors, unless all of my injector wiring fubard all at once....

After 3:21, I'll be running over to the shop and checking over wiring / fuel injector resistor. Wish me luck!

So, what were you working on, that made it fail?
An obvious question- but did you check the EFI fuse?

PS- Is the title of this thread supposed to be Heart TRANSPLANT, or Transport?

Transplant lol... I can't figure out how to change thread titles.

And it wasn't affected by me working on it. I found the issue now. I swear. I checked the intake grounds about 6 times. I looked one final time and they were loose. Busted out a 12mm, tightened them and it fired right up. Woops.

FYI... I cut the flex pipe off of my DP because it made it too tight to the firewall where the speedo came up. You don't need a flexpipe unless your running cats I think. (I'm not)
Flex pipe gone.. it all fit perfectly (with a custom test pipe).

If you can afford quality.. Raptor Racing has the best DDP that I have seen for a 7M... pricey.. but worth it.

Looking back.. It probably would have fit without the flex section.. But whenever the exhaust would move that would just put strain on the manifold bolts.. Which we all know as weak. Well.. the threads lol

Well, its been quite a few miles of care free (and problem free!) motoring. Just got new rubbers (new to me atleast) put on the rear of the car. The previous owner of the wheels put fix a flat in one of the tires and that was causing the chrome on the inside to flake, causing a leak. But oh well, the tires were getting bad and I just needed an excuse to go from 215-235 :D

But! I have a question for all of you. I pulled my door moldings off my 1990, and well.. Broke both of the front clips off both of them. I can make the passenger side work, because I still have the clip in one piece, but the driver side broke in half. How should I fix this????

Put my driftmotion replacement downpipe in yesterday, and holy hell that makes a difference! No pictures or videos though. It's obnoxiously loud, and I really really need to put the exhaust back on.

But I am going to figure out a way to put on the door moldings soon, and I am thinking I'm wrapping my head around getting the cruise to work with the auto -> manual swap.

HOWEVER. There is an issue. My ABS does NOT work, and I'm getting a code for a rear speed sensor. I originally assumed that I needed a new rear speed sensor, but now it's dawned on me that the auto sensor and the manual sensor are different. Do I need to figure out a way to mount the auto sensor, or do I need to get a manual ABS computer? I believe I have one laying around, but I don't know for sure. I don't even know if it will hook up with no rewiring lol Anyway, if anyone with experience with auto -> manual swaps would chime in, it would be greatly appreciated!

Jeff Lange would know (on these forums)
Also from a quick search, the part numbers would look identical on the 90 for manual or auto.
I'm not familiar with the ABS differences but I thought they were the same. They just varied by year.
Not sure though.

Google the specific part and compare numbers (rock Auto?)
From what I saw there was no difference. I didn't look at the ABS computer though because that may be different.

Oh, and the auto had the neutral start sensor, so it may be looking for that. I don't think the manual had that on the ABS SYSTEM (going by the Tsrm)

(I just went through the TSRM and I don't see anything that stands out as being different other than the neutral sensor... hopefully someone smarter than me pipes in.. :D )
Sorry I can't help much.
