Seriously guy? You need to search. Not only has this already been covered countless times but its already been covered today.

Yes, you bring the ECU with it. Search if you want to know more.

That thread says NOTHING about the compatibility of an 89 harness with an 88 motor. It's punks like you that make it really difficult for a newcomer to enjoy a forum. I am learning, just like dozens of other new Supra owners. I HAVE used the search function. I've heard you can, I've heard you can't. That's why I am asking. Any other smartass remarks, send them to my PM box.

If there is anyone who is actually willing to help and not boost their internet ego, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

And there are tons of variations outside of that. There should be a part number on the wrapping that you can cross referance.

Put the electronics on the engine your putting in. The issue is the compatability with the car. In swaps I have done in the past I will swap the entire manifold over to make things easier.

I'm sorry. Did I not say PM me with anymore smartass remarks?

You did answer yes, after a bunch of bull, followed by "seach more if you want to know more". I appreciate the help regardless f your snobby attitude.

Thanks IndyMK3. You and I both know he did but I am over it. The way I see it, if you don't want to help, simply don't say anything otherwise help out and discuss the Technical aspects of this motor. Isn't that what this forum, this section is all about anyway?

It is coming along very well. We're working on it tomorrow. Getting things hooked up and what not. I needed a new bsvs and a kind guy here helped me out big time. I'd say 2 more days and it should be running, provided I figure this wiring harness out. I did get that motor yes, its real clean. :)

This car is 10 times more complicating than my Cobra lol! It's fun though, great learning experience

How are those sideskirts and spoiler bro? They work out ok?

I dont think I was snobby or a smartass. You asked a question thats been beaten to death. I took the time to at least point you in the right direction, where most guys just completely ignore you when you ask a dead question like this. Did I not take the time to search and find the thread for you?

Snobby. I DID search. And that thread started yesterday had no input on what I needed. I wasn't going to sabotage his thread with my questions.

"Did I not take the time to search and find the thread for you? "

Did I not say I appreciated your help?

Unless you have anything else that is helpful pertaining to my question, I would very much like for you to stop posting in my thread. I've asked you twice to PM me if you had further issues and you continue to do so here. I had a simple question that I did research on but still wasn't clear. There is no harm in asking a technical question about the motor of the car this forum supports.

Back to my topic... I swapped the electronics from my old motor to my new one, so any mix ups should be solved that way. That was a good idea. I now have a 88 ECU that I can put up for sale if someone needs one :)
