I had new idea to improve on the 22re since there is really no piggy back that will work with it


then a light turned on in my head


5mge engine harness and ecu and every thing to make it work and upgrad afm and thottle body

then you coul use piggy back's like afc 2 to sort out the small bug's

ha ha nice "power pakage". ive also tried a 5m afm on my turbo setup. it ran like shit with my supra injectors but, i might try it again later with some
rx7 injectors i have laying arounds. i was also going to run that throttle body setup too. i started porting an old plenum i had but got lazy. did you port the plenum for the throttle body?

the 7mgte thottle body is rather easy to do


you have to use thottle body form a 87 to 88 thou since it will have the bleed screw

-take 7mgte gasket mark and hog out the 22re intake
-swap the 22re tps on and internale sweep arms
-you will have to push otu the intrail steel caoller in the tps to get it to be in adjust ment
- you will have to plug the air leak on the top of the thottle body i use guel gun for temp thing that kidna stayed ahhaha i going to use jb weld later to porper fix




the supra afm is 0 to 5 volt the 82 and lower are the 2.5 volt to 9 system all i did with mine was just swap the guts then added tention to spting tell i like the way the truck ran





i have a new idea ight now too


that is to swap on a 84 5mge haness ecu afm and all the stuff need but ignitor and coil and dizzy

the idea to have system that is 0 to 5 volt and then you can use any fule computer to make it run the way you want


i pending a deal right now a on a set of wheel spacers fro all the stuf fi need to try the swap

i added a spring to mine to incress tention

well the reson for that is (A) I am not sue if I am going to keep this motor (B) it will be going in the back (C) I going to get my supra going again i kinda miss it

and for my afm, i have a bunch of them laying around. some of them being stock and the others are supra/cressida afms with board swaps that i also did myself

i have to figure out the ig system every thing els is fine i have another idea any way
is to run a 0 to 5 volt afm with fuel computer then a 0 to 5 volt what will convert to 2.5 to 9

i am starting to hate this pile of shit 1970 ecu junk the 22re was the first in toyota line up to be an efi car and shown all these years


i am thinking of a new brain for ti but not sure


main thing is i don't wanna spend hardly any money and the Toyota's vast system can lick my ball sack

Well i did some work to the truck again and was nto fan of runing out of fuel so I made this sump for the truck

on side not i had to swap tanks since my old one was leaking

oh and i got a better set of shocks

Well I have not updated this thread in some time


well this is what I have done since then

changed and removed a bar form my cage since it made it hard ot see and my window wiper some times rubbed on ti

supra alt swap

arp streeing arm stud upgraded

power streeing upgrade ( high perssure&flow pump res/cooler/ram)

and what i just finshed today well not fully done yet but my anity axle wrap bar

next is set of bolt on door bars so when I have my doors of i have some more protection


then after that turboing or superchager the 22re mabye or 7m or meh not sure right now

0h ya I got new set of doors/hood and added in tilt call um and a sr5 v6 cluster and muked with the tac resistance so it will work with the 22re

oh it's fun as hell gonna have to fix small leak in my streeing system one of my o ring's blew on my box and finshed my wrap bar's monte so it fully re inforced

well took the truck out and my steering box cracked boooo

tired to fix it with a weld but she still leak after lock my front hub's


so when out wheeling any way and found out power streeing fluid is slippery

lol

Well I am going to retire this truck she is going for sale

It was long fun 4 year chapter in my life but I have had my fill and learnt alot along the way

Now I am back in to racing and pickup a new 2wd autocross truck
