89 Supra Spindle/Rear Axle/Wheel Hub Nut Reusable?

Ive searched and have found one thread that says it is usable. From other sources ive looked at , i got no true and final answer.

Any imput is greatly appreciated!

I've re-used it without any issue. There is no reason that you wouldn't be able to, it is simply a nut (i.e. it does not deform when installed)

If it's staked, you tend to not reuse them simply because if you have to stake it in the same spot.

Not staked. Its a cotter pin and lock nut deal.

As always, the TSRM is quite handy in cases like this. Exploded views tend to point out parts that cannot be re-used, with a little diamond beside the part number if I remember correctly.

Cotter pins can be reused (you really should replace, but I've reused them forever because I don't mangle them on removal)
