Ok so i bought this car a month ago and have been working on it since, here are pictures of when i bought her. It was an auto,targa, na with a rodknock.

I removed all the seats and cleaned all this junk

The motor ans tranyn are out of the car and as we speak the car is towed to Jims Body shop where the car will be getting a brand new paint job. After the car comes back i will either be putting in a 1j or 7mgte w/ r154 "still deciding"

I like it, looks like a really clean car. Any rust? cause that would be the only downside to this great looking car. Other then the rod-knock lol.

Yea it has a hole of rust in the hatch next to the wing, but i juts got a clean hatch out of the junk yard so its all taken care of lol and im got the 3pce oem wing as wel. yea im scraping the motor and sellin the auto tranny.

Looks good! I just picked up a 89 a about a month ago and have been playing around with it, same car just about. NA Auto Targa, but mine doesnt have the white package.

I wouldnt jump the gun on scraping the engine untill you pull the good parts from it.

Anyway, what plans do you have for it?

Oh im way ahead of you lol. And im keeping most of it a suprise till its all done, but i can tell you its getting a black paint job "door jams and all" and its getting a r154 w/ either a 7m or 1j

******UPDATE. Just bought the most perfect donor supra ever! It has a 7mgte with r154 tranny, clutch and brake pedals i need, driveshaft, lsd rear, uncracked black dash, factory sport suspension, speedo with tems and turbo with guages, 4in downpipe, black interior "besides seats" and a lot more parts im pulling off! I am going to put all the parts listed above off my supra and onto the donor and sell the shell if anyones interested! Here are the pics of the donor!

Oh and the I decided to have my supra fully redone! Doors, hood, Trunk are ALL OFF ! The cars getting fully repainted ALL OVER at jims body shop so it will be in showroom conditon. And the pics show that some stuff in the engine bay are discconected but i put everything back together and it runs great!

nice supra man! btw i kinda noticed u have a pre-89 style front bumper (wider fogs) but have the 89+ thing in the middle, whats going on with that lol

The '87 rear wing also kinda has me confused haha. Way to pick up a nice parts car though, wish I could find something like that!

Sorry ive forgotten about this build thread lol. The cars comes back from the body shop, heres some pics. And ive decided to buy a front clip so the car will be converted to rhd and the 1jz swap will go in. Enjoy
