garden liner i believe is a plastic (abs?) that you use to contain a garden, commonly a garden near a walkway or lawn that would spill over. you put it in around a bunch of fresh dirt...or any garden for that matter... and it makes a clean looking border to hold your dirt where you put it. people also use them to help make the garden a shape by laying it down (it sticks into the air like a wall) and then filling the garden with dirt.

for the garage liner, is that the lining that seals around the top and sides of a garage door you're talking about??

lol, I set them up, you knock them down! I believe is how the saying goes

The garage liner I'm talking about is actuall the liner along the bottom, I don't know if tyou so much find it anywhere besides the South, but here they keep out rain, snakes and lizards. It's exactly like this link, but a lot long...

It's got a nice lip at the top for mounting purposes

ok. well, i'm waiting for the writeup. Next time i'm out i'm gonna check out this stuff to see the design though. i think i might do it if the lip i have doesnt want to straighten out.

On that garage lining, we have lining but i guess if there was an EXTREMELY determined snake it could slither under... ours is just a rubber piece though for a soft landing and insulation... that stuff looks like a special design for stuff that could wriggle underneath conventional stuff, so yeah probably just south. i'm in the north...

i was thinking of the rubber sections on the top and sides, it has a rubber lip but the part you nail to the wood of the garage woulk make it a bit odd looking on a car :nono:

lol. i think we actually might have some of this stuff outside! i'm gonna go se...hehe.
EDIT - i checked and we do...but one side has little ridges and that makes small lumps on the other side as well so it would look funny on a car..... i like the batroom stuff the best so far, unless they have a better garden liner...which is entirely possible.

Cove base comes in limited colors, but black is definately one of them.

Also, the reason why my lip doesnt have any of those wrinkles and puckers is because I have a metal base to mine. I made drop down brackets and then ran a strip all the way around the base. Then I attached my lip to that.

I have a few secrets on how I did mine, and as soon as I have the time, I'll do a full writeup.
