89+ crossmember

Ok I am gathering infos on 1JZ swap and out of luck I learn 87 needs to change their cross members to 89+ cross member. Anyone have pictures of comparatively between the two types and where I can get them? I am fairly new but I will needed 89+ motor mounts too right? Or will the cross member have everything I need?

And yes I have searched and I have been reading the 1JZ swap FAQ on supraforums for the past 5 weeks.

Just get some BIC (BecuaseICan) mounts and you'll be fine. BigAaron is modifying mine so that it's "just like" an 89+ when he swaps in my 1JZ.

motor mounts would be much easier to swap than the entire cross member.

just get the brackets from BIC, and new rubber vibration absorbers. they come with new bolts and washers, that way everything is new and won' give you any problems

you will need your old rubber pieces and i suggest the bic mounts (my old rubber pieces were trashed so i used my aristos mounts )
