Seriously, what are you talking about?

For North America:
86.5-92 N/A = 4.30:1 Open or Clutch Pack LSD (LSD Optional in USA, Standard in Canada)

87-88 Turbo AUTOMATIC AND 5-SPEED = 3.91:1 Clutch Pack LSD
89-92 Turbo AUTOMATIC AND 5-SPEED = 3.73:1 Clutch Pack LSD

For Japan: (Note: this list is NOT complete)
Only the JZA70 TT-R and GT-Limited had the Torsen, everything else was Open Diff or Clutch Pack.

Torsen/Helical Gear LSD's are available in 4.10:1 (5-SPEED) or 3.91:1 (AUTOMATIC).

The JZA70 in Japan did have a 4.10:1 Clutch Pack LSD option.

In Conclusion, a 4.10:1 JDM Diff could be OPEN, TORSEN, OR CLUTCH TYPE.

Evilempire1.3JZ-GTE, you're totally confused and you're confusing other people too.

I edited it because i thought Torsen ='s clutch style lsd
The US mkiii came with pinion gear driven LSD & open diffs the jdm came with clutch style one here is the vin on my jdm supra

JDM VIN #
"
TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION JAPAN
MODEL E-JZA70-BLMVZ
ENGINE 1JZ-GTE________________2491 CC
COLOR TRIM
202 FK15
TRANS/AXLER154 G299
PLANT A53

G 29 9 is the axle code that means G= 8" diff 29= 4.10 AXLE code final digit 9 is clutch but is not listed in the toysport table.

The vin plate on my sport package rear diff supra had the vin number
MODEL MA70L-BLPVFA
C/TR/A/TM 040LE82G285A340E

the axle code is G 28 5 G=8" 28=4.30 5= 4 PINION LSD!
on my other supra it haves a vin code 4 4=4 pinion open diff

this for sure is correct i did not forge up a fake number
look at the chart here.. http://www.toysport.com/webpages/Techinfo/References/toyota20differentials20indentifications.htm

it means JZA-70 came with clutch diff in the ratio of 4.10
the US MA-70 came with open diff & LSD (pinion / worm gear/ helical/ torsen)
the US ratios are 4.30 on auto manuel haves only 3.73 & 3.91

the JDM LSD clutch
PRO's are good for auto X and drifting
PRO's more traction then pinion lsd on turns
PRO's most of the time you smoke both tires but try not to launch to hard!
CON's explode on high hp applications and drag launches
CON's clutch packs wear out.

the US LSD pinion gear driven ones
PRO's are solid dont wear out or PINION GEAR driven
PRO's dont explode on hard drag launches
PRO's perfect traction going in a streight line
PRO's you smoke both wheels when punching it hard and can handle any drag launch up to maybe 450hp before it gets upset
CON's in a turn punching it 100% on a wet road with not engough slipping between the two rear wheel speeds. putting you in a ditch.

the US open ones
PRO's best traction on turns slips a lot in tight turns
CON's can not handle more then 200whp especialy drag launches 300+RWHP
CON's burn out only 1 wheel same as con below but this is the one evey one knows
CON's haves the worst traction in a streight line
