88 Turbo Vs 04 procharged Stang GT

no stock ct26 @ 11psi and I've personally seen 4 6.0 GTO's hit 14.0-14.6 at the local track and a procharged GTO hit 12.9 spinning horribly.

but the procharged gto also had its arse handed to it by a 1j sc300 T61

btw wiseco's arent stock compression and theres been guys ranging from 250-300hp from somewhat healthy running 7m's to healthy running 7m's with just intake,exhaust,bov.

So what compression are you running? Please tell ur running NA compression or damned near. Is there some water/meth in the equation as well?

According to GM, the 2005 Pontiac GTO LS2 goes 0-60mph in 4.8 seconds and runs the 1/4 in 13.0 flat. Now this is GM Sales Literature, so subtract the ideal track conditions and professional driver, and we're talking maybe high 13's. But somehow, you and your 232 horsepower motor plus wiseco pistons beat him, right? And then took out a Procharged Mustang...

well damn thanks for bench dyno'n my car Jag! Now tell me how to tune it to get more out of it? didnt know i was running stock intake and exhaust because if thats the case I whooped their arse's with stock airbox and exhaust. I only see these guys once a week if that because I havent seen the GTO guy since but I guess a wrx with intake and exhaust(non sti) didnt pull the GTO either..

Honestly did you not read the kill of the gto?? Damn man I didnt say as soon as we hit it I left him for shit. He did get the jump and was ahead of me then misshifted and quickly recovered and I was at his front fender. Then started pulling in 3rd and more so and 4th. Why else will the guy come up to me and give me props??? I'm not just gonna pull something like this out of my ass nor would I care too. You act like I'm trying to come on here to impress people..


But youre also maybe correct as well as I never ran a 13.8 with a a 3.5 60ft and never posted my timeslip before sm went down the times it has. Damn I just feel like I need to lie to prove something to people that I'll probably never meet.

ONCE AGIAN I NEVER SAID I TOOK OUT THE PROCHARGED STANG. We were even and If I wouldnt have spun a tad it would have stayed with him at my door...

Okay. I'm done with this thread. This isn't anything personal Justin. It's just that when people post unlikely crap, I call them on it. Maybe you didn't say that you passed them like they were standing still, but these "kills" seem highly unlikely. I'm sorry this has upset you so much.

For you to have a Supra with only intake and exhaust running 13.8 with a 3.5 second 60ft sounds like u have a T-88 under the hood, but what do I know? :dunno: A 3.5 60 ft sucks major balls, but boy when u hooked up, to run a 13.8, it must have looked like you'd been fired out of a slingshot! I only wish I could see this baby in person!

I know its nothing personal I didnt get bent out of shape over it but the fact is i was getting a little aggrivated about it. 3.5 was a typo I meant to put 2.5.

I understand how you doubt the GTO kill and trust me when we were at the light I thought I was gonna be left out to dry and theres not a doubt in my mind someone that im sure can drive with some decent tires can! But that night it didnt look like he could and bam thats what happened. I also said that he misshifted so thats driver error.
I'm repeating myself when I say I'm gonna try to get the guys to post on here and thats all i can say man what more did you want me to say?
I'll see what I can do!

Justin not picking sides but he does have a point about there being something else to the story for a car w/ intake and exhaust to run 13.8 @ 102 w/ a 2.5 60 foot. You must have all your power come in after those 60 feet. Have you weighed the car?? 3200lb's??? maybe

I agree that stang should have won but you could have raced ryan woons supra and still won if a tellatubie was driving.

Amazing numbers for what you've got man, any dyno sheets?? I am very curious as to how your picking up so much power especially for that trap speed and ET.

That's all I was saying. :dunno: Everyone else makes 250rwhp with intake and exhaust, and this guy makes 300+. Everybody else runs high 14s and this guy runs a full second faster. It just doesn't add up.

The night I ran the 13.8 I had hardly any gass. Matter of fact the light was on. No spare and nothing in the rear of the car past the back seats and its still like that till this day. The minor exception at the time I was running open dp. I had the old timeslip posted gosh a long time ago. Had a few witness's, chris with a mk2 thats been on this forum here and there and my friend ben with a 13.9 gtp with just a K&N cone filter and a $60.00 pulley no exhaust.
I don't have the timeslip on my laptop nor do I have it anymore e since everything faded off it.My desktop got struck by lightning earlier this year and it was on that computer. Never been to a dyno cause there aren't any that are less than 3 hours away..
Maybe the stang guy was spinning I dunno he didnt say he was but he didnt make excuses either.

Theres been plenty of guys hit 100-105 on intake and exhaust i've read it many times over the years on sf's, sm, and even the old I-supra site. Hell there's been maybe 3 guys that ive read hit 13.5 and trapped those speeds of course with better 60's.

heck the first Time i went out to the track i hit a 14.1 @ 102 and posted it up on sf's and many people told me with that trap I should be in the high 13's so I practiced a good bit but tires proved to suck that night.

Anyhow I havent forgotten about the guys if I see them this weekend I will try to get alex the mustang driver and Rafeal the gto driver. Thats all I can say about it. Believe me next time I'll get a video even if i'm pulling on a school bus next time guys I dont have a camera nor did I have anyone riding with me that night.

well the guy with the Goat came out last night. I had my Tundra out, we all talked and bs'd. A firebird and camaro pulled up talking smack wanting to run the gto. Well the camaro was a later model with an ls1. I road in the GTO and we went from a roll and it was pretty even till the top of 2nd then into 3rd.
Now the reason I believe the goat didnt get me when we run is this, 1st he granny shifts. He doesn't know how to drive... 2nd he doesn't even go all the way thru 3rd. Its like he gets to 3500 or 4k and shifts into 4th.

The guy with the stang wasnt out last night hopefully tonight he comes out. From a friend that knows him all he said its a vortech supercharger and he doesnt know which type but all the guy did was just throw it on untuned and went. He doesnt have headers, still stock tb, and just chopped out the stock muffler and welded in some magnaflows. He also said the intake for the sc'r isnt all that great he is still using stock air box for it.
I'll try to find out more tonight.
