88 supra makin nasty noise from head(Video)

here is where the oil pressure gauge sits after being warmed up
heres the 2 videos on i wwas pulling back on the throttle so it would quitet down and so you can here it

Yeah, mine sounds similar but it more like a clank.

You're video was sort of hard to hear. My oil pressure is also at the same too. Is that normal? I've only owned my supra for a couple of months. I'm currently using 10w-30 oil.

A friend and I were thinking maybe there could be something with the lifters or maybe the oil pump. I'm not too sure on the lifter part though, he owns a 240 and I think the mechanicals between the 2 engines are different, I could be wrong though ?

no lifters we have what 240s have buckets and shims ontop of the springs

The noise that we are experiencing, I've heard it before when I was doing an oil change.

A while back we were doing an oil flush and replacing the oil filter. It turns out that the oil filter wasn't on all the way, and it made a similar noise.

It makes me wonder if it has to deal with oil pressure.

Gte my cps cam postining sensor on the side of the motor mine was lose when i got it i didnt know what to do with it so i tightend it

So do you hear the clank over a particular piston or the whole motor?

I don't think messing with my cps is going to fix one set of valves with out messing up the others.

you cant just go wrenching on random shit and hope its going to fix a specific problem you have. diagnose it or in your case get it diagnosed and THEN go about fixing it. or don't, your call brother...

Gte my cps cam postining sensor on the side of the motor mine was lose when i got it i didnt know what to do with it so i tightend it

any adjustment in the CPS i suggest u retime ur engine

also check the exhaust manifold side of the head and are there any missing studs?
