So we started at roughly 2pm and stretched till around 6 and called it a night there wasn't much more to get done that couldn't be done tomorrow and we might have to wait another day as it looks like rain tomorrow too >_<. So without further ado here is the pics from today I didn't really get any during the work but these are the after effects.

Here is the tranny after a bottle of break parts cleaner and some elbow greese.

Ok so this pic might seem a little out of place but the kid who had the motor before rewired a plug from a tailor hitch light to work
:asshole: so we had to cut and splice the new one on and were going to solder the connections in tomorrow.

Heres the whole motor after we replaced the valve cover seals and popped them back on not super clean but clean enough will finish that up tomorrow as well.

And again...

Here is the steering wheel attached it looks and feels so good to me looks like ill have to go with more of a red theme on the inside as the shift knob has some subtle red and so does the steering wheel maby ill have the back lights to everything change to red to add to the essence of everything.:joshers:

Here is the top part of the steering column cover with the hub attached seeing if every thing sat nicely and it did :: badger ::

Thank you mother nature for holding out long enough for me and kotu100 to finish most of the swap. THE MOTOR IS IN THE CAR ^_^ we got the oil pan back on the turbo bolted up and nice, got the rest of the gaskets and such on and what not the internals were near mint condition so no need to crack into the crank and change bearings just yet and the stock oil pump was f***ing immaculate. To follow are the pics for today portion of the build, enjoy ^_^.

Ok so the turbo drive shaft is in and the tranny is bolted up sorry for the lack of pics but I was flying solo today. All there is left to do is bolt the motor mounts picking up the new oil relocation kit tomorrow and then put the little tranny brace bar back on and thats the end of the drive train chapter. Hopefully we can kick it over on friday. Keep tuned for more updates.

Ok so the tranny is bolted up and ready to go, The driveshaft is up and ready to go, Im picking up the new slave cylander and hose friday, the fitting/ New oil relocation kit is coming in today im going to be picking it up friday. Tomorrow is judgement day to see if all mine and kotu100's hard work and my money spent will amount to something awsome.(which im sure it will) The cars almost there litterly all thats left to be done is mounting the oil cooler, and the intercooler, Relocating the oil filter, flipping the alternator belt tensoner (It was put on backwards >_<) AC belt, and thats pretty much it aside from a tank of gas gotta hook up the boost gauge and do some little interior things but thats all extra. Sorry again for no pics didnt have a chance to take n e yesterday ill take some tonight when I get home. Thanks for looking and stay tuned

Nice dude, my motor deal fell through, so looks like its more delays for me. I was poking around on my parts car yesterday and remembered you were missing the trim piece on your passenger fender, and it happened to be one of the few pieces on my parts car that hadnt been molested with wood screws, so I took it off. clips intact and everything, its in my trunk, I'll drop by the next time im in the area, probably saturday.

Talk about slacking, Sorry for the no updates recently I have been wrencing non stop and when I get it i dont wanna be near a computer. SO...we have everything all in. IT WONT START:cry:it seems from alot of trial and error with me and kotu100 and lewis im not getting any spark at all. We changed out the coil pack, the cps, and the ECU to see if any one of thoes were not functioning properly. Noting not any spark what so ever so now im up for hints to why this is happeing if anyone reading this has any advice let me know. Me and Lewis will be checking the harness for bad wires tonight as I dont have a multi meter and he does. Ill check back and update later. Here are some pics for your enjoyment.
