Ok so a little background I've had my car for about 2 years running I originally bought it with a bhg so I then I rebuilt it all with turbo internals and everything new including a brand new paint job. And so at the end of the summer this year it overheated too many times due to a failure in a thermostat. And so another head gasket was blown so this time I'm just replacing it and sending a head off of a parts car to go and get redone. And after I get it back I plan on ordering a turbo and going that route and I had a few questions on how can I get a coil pack or lq9 coils to go to the system, and if 550cc injectors with a walbro 225 will work or do I need to go with a stealth fuel pump. Thanks and going to a different engine or doing a get swap isn't in my thoughts or mind right now I want to wait till I either blow this engine or find a good price on a 2jz. And I will be running a w58 for the parts car too that I will be rebuilding and be putting a new clutch in.

Ok so a little update I went to a shop around me and they had explained everything I would need to do and also explained maybe I should look into getting a 2jz and now am looking to see if anyone knows good importers or people willing to ship a engine for a good price I am still in highschool and only have a certain budget

Ge or gte?

2jzge engines can be found at any junkyard for cheap.

For buying a 2jzgte from a importer just don't but from tiger Japanese. Also can look on Craigslist as it's better to look in person.

I would want a gte and I would also either run my w58 with a 2jz bell or find one with a r154. And the craigslist idea is good but I can't find any

I would honestly do a jz swap either a 1 or 2, 1s are usually cheaper, and just as good just not as powerful stock, 2s on the other hand are really powerful but not cheap to come by, your choice, but I would stray you from another rebuild because I've already made the mistake of rebuilding a 7m (first time as well) and failed, them bought another from another guy out here in socal, but it died on me only a month in, good thing the guy was cool and gave me a full refund
