Just went thru a similar project on my '92, minus some of the widebody parts. The anticipation killed me, as I had been working overtime & saving cash for nearly a year to get the job taken care of. (I had hit & run parking lot damage, plus a horrible prior respray with separated & flaking clear coat).

I also have a sunshade from the recent group buys, but I decided against installing it right away, and I used the fiberglass mouldings from the group buy here as well. I ditched smoke lens covers in favor of clears, but I can see the logic in smoke on a grey car.

Best of luck- hope the results are everything you were hoping for. Mine turned out better than I had actually expected, but I'm a frickin' pessimist when it comes to body shops, so that's not entirely surprising. The result was everything I had wanted to hope it would be, but didn't dare.

Good gawd, I love seeing a shiny, smooth MKIII rolling down the road. Especially if I'm behind the wheel.

PS- Gonna be 40 in a few weeks. Does this count as my mid-life crisis???
