My name is Cameron, I'm from South Carolina. Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone here and thank you guys for havin me here.
So, a little about me and my car...I have an 87 N/A Supra targa shell. I just got it a few months ago from a friend for 50 bucks. This summer, I'm gonna try and get it running with the 350ci chevy smallblock I have sitting around. The engine has roughly 380 horses with a good carb and air cleaner...it supposedly came out of an 80's corvette, but it may have originally come out of a camaro...I'm not sure yet. I realize most of you may be a bit disgruntled about this swap, and I couldn't be happier...I feed off of this negative energy. The groaning is the reason I've decided to do this swap
But I do plan on getting an 89+ Turbo after I'm done with this swap, cuz at heart, I'm just a boost nerd
SO...
here are some pics of my project as of now. keep in mind I just got it and I have a ways to go, but it sould be running by september. So far I've replaced the 2 front fenders, the hood, the tails, and some interrior that was spraypainted
As she sits:
Tail lights I had to replace since the last owners painted over them:
The engine(sitting on my dining room floor):
More of the engine:
