Anyone know if the Mazda RX7 wheels will fit on the MK3? I know they are the same bold pattern, but will they fit the mk3?

Rims are coming off of an mazda rx7 1987 turbo......... reason i want to buy them, is cuz theyre lighter than the sawblades.

Edit: What about the offset?

what are the offsets of the RX7 wheels?

They'll likely fit though. There's so much room in the A70 wheel wells it's ridiculous .

Edit: just looked it up. FC wheels are 16x7 +40. Stock MKIII wheel is a 16x7 +35, so you're sitting in 5mm more. Not a problem.

So 5mm more means theyll stick in a little more? Im a noob with the offset stuff.

The FC wheels are a newer style, im looking into the older 1987 turbo rx7 style rims. I really dont wanna have problems with turning or having to mod anything. Thanks

I believe FD wheels are lighter then FC wheels if all your trying to do is lose unsprung weight. FD wheels may cost a bit more but they are wider and better looking then pizza cutters too. In my opinion the A70's sawblades look better then the FC's sawblades.

But it doesn't really matter since they both look ugly.

Yes.

What a +40 offst means is the mounting face of the wheel is spaced 40mm towards the outside of the wheel from the centerline, which will pull the wheel in.

The higher the offset, the more it tucks in. The lower the offset, the more it sticks out.

FC center hub is too small. If you have a 8mm spacer to clear the hub on the supra you can get it to work though.

I tried to use a RX7 convertible wheels and failed lol.
