Nice work! Ive wanted to make a water outlet for a while now but havent been bothered yet. Looks like you are running EWP or a dry block? (No thermostat or bypass etc)

Arent those cam gears alloy? How are you going to trigger the pickup?

The cam gears are aluminum. I'll add in a .080-.100 diameter ferrous slug For the pickup

Are you going to sweep the turn on the water outlet? I'd probably put in a slight ramp so there isn't much turbulence in the water outlet. If your solidworks has a flow motion simulation, you could see how much it'll cause.

Some new head way:

Crank sensor setup. Steven used a JZ trigger wheel, and machined the back side of his 7m wheel and tack welded it on. Then added a hall sensor and bung to the lower timing cover. Works out awesome and is out of view.

Then he worked on the cam sensor setup. Which consist of a bung behind the cam pulley that's bolted to the head. Again, out of sight. I milled his cam pulley and tapped in a .125 slug for the pickup reference.

Then Steven modified an alternator bracket that Dustin made to accept his mechanical fuel pump.

Big Congrats on this project. An inspiration to us all :). You may single handedly change everyone's shitty opinion of a 7m lol.
