Ive been holding off on posting it to try to get a good thread to start.
Lots of drag cars run aluminum exhaust after the turbo.

Getting my head back from the machine shop next week along with my valve covers from the powder coat. I have to order the shimless buckets to size once its back and should be able to start on a stock block for my bday cant wait!

Also should give a shout to Rich @ SIP Racing for alot of info and parts

Aluminium melts at 660°C/1220°F, there are alloys which melt higher than that, but not by much.......Ive heard of cars running aluminium exhausts, but only towards the rear of the car and certainly not for a 1200hp drag car dump pipe.

Link to drag cars using aluminium dump pipe?

Multiple people here in AZ the build cars for Full Race and AFI use aluminum exhaust. Either it be a 900hp honda or XXXX supra

I haven't bought any stuff for the downpipe yet so I still have time to change alittle. I just have a vband and that's it.

Sweet i was wondering who would be the first to use the efr series turbos.

Won't be for awhile I know that. I'm gonna use the gt42 to it's potential while finishing the fuel system, upgrading to the ProEFI 128 and whatever else is needed. Thats why I'm building the t6 manifold

Ive seen this project in person, lots of custom fabrication and quality parts being used. Cant wait for it to be done.

So after some discussions with my bff that's making my manifold from full race I will be running a SS downpipe/aluminum cat back for the street and an aluminum downpipe/side exit for the strip.

He said there's no way for it to melt cause it the difference in direct vs indirect heat. After time it will fatigue and crack and have to replace the whole thing not just reweld it.

Steve, I sent the PM about the fuel rail. We can make any size rail you want, you specify and that is talking about the inner diameter.

Let me know.
