I did it. I don't have the car anymore but if you got a question feel free to ask me. I did a stock swap by the way. I used an 87 turbo car as the donor. It's all plug and play and all chasis's have pre-existing bolt holes. Very easy.

Mine is 86.5 GE-T, feel free to ask. Pretty sure the 86.5 is treated as any pre 89. I may be wrong but I haven't ran into any differences in ordering turbo parts for a 87. Cheers, goodluck.

When getting parts for my 86.5 I NEVER told them 86 because they would ALWAYS give me MKII parts. When at the parts counter, my car was an "87" model.;)

Agreed. I work at O'Reilly's, and the first question that pops up when you put 86 in the computer is: Engine 2.8 or 3.0, but it's safe to go with 87.

One thing I am confused about is the HAC sensor. I got the 87 T engine harness, but was wondering can I run the sensor without having to get the dash harness. I just want to get the car running!!! I eventually want to convert the whole thing. Its just time and money are limited right now :(

When you get the GTE engine harness, you'll have a spot to plug in the HAC sensor by the ECU.
