85 Civic Wagon Could barly keep up!!!!

So I was driving home from the local get together and a 85 CVCC Civic Wagon rolls up reving at me and I knew that this dude with a carburator can't keep up with my Straight 6 Fuel Injected NA Honda Killing Supra, so we waited for the light to turn green, and I started reving showing off my stock muffler with holes we punched into it to make it sound like its aftermarket. My open air box roaring like a lion, my fat tach is reading about 5k Rpm, I am ready, hoping my new 185/50R16 Tires I just got at pepboys are going hold up to the massive power of my NA. The Light turns green and I pop the car into drive from neutral, it was a neutral bomb drop from hell as the car hooks like a bat out of hell!!! and at the moment I knew I might need some assistance, so I flip the nitrous cover up for a just in case thing. I feel the car shift into 2nd and this mother f'er is hanging and pulling on me, he is now half a car ahead, thats when I knew what needed to be done. With a push of a button 125hp instantly gets injected into my 7mGE! As the power kicks in the tires are screaming for dear LIFE!!! and the look on this old dudes face was priceless as I pull from him half a car length and hit the hazards and declared my win, what a night it was last night! I am off to build a camera mount so I can start videotaping these crazy late night races in my NA Track Monster!!!! aight peace :chicken:

just a few things to put out there...

1. You shouldn't put tires less than 205's on supras
2. Why do you need a tachomater when its an auto?
3. Y would you neutral drop? Are you looking for problems?
4. WHY would you punch holes in your exhaust to make it louder?
5. Open intake?:3d_frown:
6. NITROUS?? are you serious?

Ok, now I have a auto N/A also and I would like to know what you mean by useing the tach to see what rpm's you are at? you have a rpm gauge in your dash....and if you wouldn't have spent the money on the nitrous and the shit load to refill it, wouldn't you have enough money to do a swap to the GTE by then?? Also, reving an auto and slaming into drive your are going to kill the transmission, I mean poping it into netural to rev at somebody is one thing but thats a whole different story. Thats just my 2 cents, but its your car you can do what you want.

im not picking but the neutral drop is a little drastic but hey its your. as far as nitrous i dont like it but it does add power,open intake is about the same as a damn cone filter so thats cool, the tach some people justlike the look not me personally but everyones different and maybe the stocker dont work anyways mount the cam send vids and pics sounds good to me,as far as the exhaust wouldnt it be easier to just remove the stock muffler? good kill story though.

Just for future reference, the tachometer indicates the rpms you are at, it is what you call a "rpm guage", that is why he probably said that, im sure he meant nothing by it
