I dont think it should be. Id post in the wtb section and go through a few pages in the for sale section. Should be able to find atleast 10 people parting out cars or 7m's.

I fixed the iscv check valve but still no dice,runs lean and misfires during boost.I swapped the fpr that made no difference either.also another problem i noticed is that somtimes the idle lopes if i am to hold the engine at 1500 rpm in netral.I havnt managed to rent a fuel pressure gauge yet but i know theres pressure in the rail cause it squirted good when i removed the fpr.

I was thinkn how does the 7mgte ecu know if your in boost or not?All other turbo cars ive owned had a boost sensor that sent a signal to the ecu but my 7mgte does not,is this right?misses and bogs out during boost and at low rpm/speeds it cuts out momentarly while driving somtimes.Ifi was to hold the rpms at 1500rpm while parked it will lope.

The 7MGTE knows by how many Hz the Karman vortex meter is sending the ECU..

What you need to understand you might have fuel pressure in the rail, but I have seen 3 supras so far with bad fuel pumps cause similar issues and if you watch the fuel pressure while at WOT the ones I have seen go down to 12-20PSI.. It should raise when you go WOT

carter hi flow pump,higher output than the walbro i cant remeber the specsbut i could look them up.The fuel pressure is good 38-44psi.Could the j tube in the fuel return be messing with the flow?

Ya thats a issue. With the high flowing fuel pump you need to either drill out the one end that has a small hole or just take 3/8 fuel hose and by pass it.

The hole acts as a second fpr incase the first one fails.

far as wireing ive only managed to hook up three power wires to the ecu and wire up a tach,maybe im missing some other important wires?

So you dont have knock sensors or any of that hooked up? Or are you talking about the body plugs?

talking about the body plugs.bypassing the j tube did nothing noticable.Still lean im about to either run an extra injector on make a water meth injection set up.

body plugs wont matter.

And putting a band on the issue is not going to solve anything. You have any pics of the swap?

Is everything hooked up like stock?

Its stock as it can be i had to fab a few parts to fit it in a celica and fab my own intercooler pipeing.I would like to post pics but dont own a camera.i just dont get why this pos wont run the way it should when everything checks out fine.Its gotta be somthing simple staring me in the face but im to fusterated to see it.even at idle the afr will drop to 18.00 20.00.I am using the injector resistor from my na 7mge could this be a problem?

found the problem i have the wrong maf,the one i bought from a guy has a lexus sensor in it with a different part number.I ran the maf from my buddy car and she ran great.so now i gota get another maf and im short on $$$
