7mgte surplus, cranks but no start

greetings, kinda new here.
my 89 supra motor gave out. and we just got done putting a surplus 7MGTE motor from japan. we used the old throttle body, distributor, and ignition coil. the motor cranks but no start. and the car is originally turbo so its just a straight remove and replace.
so we tested one of the injector harness, no signal or should i say a weak signal. when you crank the motor it'll start but for just a second and then you'll see a weak signal from the injector harness. and when we take out all the harness going to injectors, the signal is strong.
hoping i could get assistance. thanks!

Try the old injectors maybe? The ones on the motor might not be stock (different impedance).

I think I have same problem on my 87 7M-GTE Supra I ordered used ECU maybe its because of ECU I will try it when I will receive and I will let you know if it was because of ECU, and if you will figure out the problem could please let me know too....

i only replaced the motor, but i used the U.S. ecu. maybe you could have gotten
a different year ecu? different year different part number. match the ecu if they have same part number.
