7mgte piston rings setting

ok... im a newbie with supra's... im not sure how to set the piston rings. some people told me to just face the rings opposite away from each other so it can get compression but some guys told me to set it at its speck.. is there a specific way to set the rings before putting the pistons back in? im confuse...

ya your supposed to spin the ring gaps so they are not in the same place on the piston.
