ok then. i'm bringing back an old thread....lol
reason being is i'm running out of fuel above 5 grand, and i found this thread while googling.

my car is running rich at wot..... until around 5,000 rpm and then it starts to go lean.
i've tried everything i can think of, short of getting bigger injectors.
my setup is as follows.......
aem ems
walbro 255
fic 630cc injectors
NEW fuel filter
afpr set to 35lbs base pressure
stock fuel rail setup as a dual feed.

i installed new clamps on the in tank hose. we are at about 23% duty cycle around 3 grand, and up to 95% by 5 grand..... and it dtill goes lean.
if anyone has ANY suggestions, i will gladly listen

Was issue happening before dual feed rail? Maybe some strange fuel flow or cavitation or some thing . I have seen in other threads about using or not using pulsation dampener. I would use it with your setup. Then use factory inlet and return of fuel rail.

How about the ecu chasing the the rich until 5 k and then some change in the maps allow ecu to ajust. Some ecu tuning problems.

the problem has been there all along. i only tried the dual feed just recently to see if it helped.
i have an aem ems, so we have control over the settings.
i'm going to try setting the base pressure to 45 tomorrow and see how it goes.

i was under the impression that my fuel setup should be good to 500 +/-. if i have to, i'll get a set of 1,000cc injectors and start tuning all over again.

i tried raising the base pressure to 45, but it still gets lean up top. i think somehow we're missing something in the tune or setup.
i trust my tuner 100%, so maybe the aem itself is acting up.

for those still following along.............. i turned the base pressure up to 50psi, and it didn't go lean.... even at higher boost levels.
does this mean that my injectors are too small? if so, then new ones it is. lol

took a video of the fuel pressure, no drop.
turning the base pressure up to 50psi bought me another 1,000 rpm. i'm going to run 55 base pressure and tune it from there.
as soon as i get the cash, i'm picking up some id1,000's.
