Having a slight problem with my 7m, well its kind of a big prob, the other day i ran the car hard for the entire trip which wasn't too long a drive, this was mid morning so the place wasn't too hot, by noon time i turned the car on to leave work and started hearing a noise something like a engine knocking sound but at the same time didn't sound like any rod knock, so i drove the car to a friends house and we both tried to figure out where the sound was coming from, eventually we gave up, so long story short i got the car home and started taking off front engine pieces only to realize that the oil pump pulley has a inward and outward movement, so i read a few post about it which states that the noise am hearing can be coming from the oil pump shaft, now my question is, where can i find the oil pump shaft and bearings? And how difficult are these things to replace?

The shaft is what the pulley is bolted to. Check the TSRM in the above sticky section. It will show you, and describe to you what tests to do. There are multiple write ups on modding the oil pump. I'm not a guru by any means, but I think I've read this is a common problem with the 7m's.

Id bet you lost the bolts holding it down, you broke the retainer or pulled the collar off

Yeah I was thinking the same thing as Bmettie.
Tear it down past the inner timing cover. If you're lucky, you might have had the retainer bolt unscrew itself, and the retainer is hitting the inside of the timing cover.
Worst case scenario, is that the retainer seperated from the shaft. As for replacing the bearings, that's a 'remove-the-engine-and-rebuild-it' kind of thing, but I would guess the bearings are ok.

sigh, i really hope the bearings are safe, i am not in the mood to remove engine and rebuild at this point, but question, shouldn't this problem reflect in the oil pressure reading? Reason for asking is because i haven't seen a difference in the oil pressure readings since this has happened.

Not necessarily.
If the oil shaft gear is still engaging the oil pump, pressure shouldn't be affected. If it disengages, your motor will seize.

true, wasn't too much of an easy task providing the limited space i had to work with but thankfully i got the job done without any problems. I will post a small vid of it driving after everything is back on and in place.
