well id say the new piston, rings and bearings would be the very most important part of any new motor!

i would agree with that 100 percent, however i would end up having to spend another 500-800 i dont have on turbo, manifold, intake plenum, injectors, fuel rail etc, etc.. the stuff the jarco motor does not include. idk maybe ill just have to be patient n save some more n just throw on 550's lexus afm 60-1 CT-26... i'd be happy with that :evil2: hell who knows lol

IIRC Jimi_87t bought a rebuild from Jarco, and his had crazy RodKnock... But, they took care of him.

Yep, but it was a bad crank. They did take care of me, upstanding guys. Aprox 1900 bucks got me a rebuilt long block with ARP head studs, HKS MHG, new oil pump, water pump, timing belt and spark plugs.

in my opinion thats a great price without the turbo/manifold etc.. if your going to build up a motor you need the mhg and the piston rings wouldnt hurt either plus oil pump and all the seals, and chances are you already have a turbo and manifold. i think i might be getting one of these longblocks then getting the ct26 rebuilt with the 60-1 wheel. if only i had the money right now...
