probably not. but if you got a motor with perfect compression numbers, its not too bad......although for 2k you can have your motor rebuilt anyway so...

then again, many things can go wrong with a rebuild....so..............

heh, just another option for us. its nice to have choices.

Interesting concept....

Do they reRing and reBearing it at all or is it "as is" ?

That would be my biggest questions too..especially on the rod bearings. Last thing I'd want to happen is the dreaded "rod knock"

ya neither website mentions replacement of any bearings, just a full visual inspection of internal engine components...
idk, sounds like a decent deal to me, especially with the warranty that comes with it..
only problem is i need every single thing THAT motor doesnt have in order to do my na-turbo conversion... tryin to line up parts right now

rod bearings are not replaced just inspected visually which btw is bullshit especially on the crank and rod tolerances.

so should i replace these items if i decide on this motor? i mean the biggest reasons im so interested is the warranty and parts that already come with it.. saves me time n effort if not money as well...

I Just received word back from jarco INC. on current pricing.

Our 7M-GTE engine rebuilds are currently at $1,695. This includes the following new parts installed: Pistons, Rings, Main & Rod Bearings, Oil Pump, OE Headgasket (Cyl Head Resurfaced), OE Head Bolts, Valve Stem Seals, Front & Rear Crank Seals, Oil Pump Shaft Seal, Cam Seals, Spark Plugs, and Oil Filter. If you would like a HKS metal head gasket and ARP head bolts it will be $1,995. We are currently out of the correct oil pan for your application, so you will have to put your oil pan on it.
Our engines are covered by a 12month/12k mile warranty under stock operating conditions.

If you have any other question please let me know.

damn, it does sound like a good deal, however the other motor includes turbo, turbo manifold, and intake plenum, as well as the MHG and
ARP studs... just doesnt have new pistons rings n bearings... so im kinda lost right now on where to go, cuz i need this thing goin asap, yet im workin with a budget...
