Yep, I have no problem with oil squirters, myself. I believe the stock spring pressure is something like 37-39 psi, so they won't even open until you open her up and let the good times roll
As mentioned, a good oil cooler is a must for a high performance turbocharged vehicle - it should remove that extra heat with no problems
Early 1986 7M-GTE blocks didn't have oil squirters, by the time we got the 7M-GTE here in North America, all GTE blocks were equipped. (Oil squirters were added for 08/86, the first month of our "87" models).
Most of Toyota's higher performance engines from the late-80's to now have squirters. (7M-GTE, 3S-GTE, 4A-GE (1990+), 2ZZ-FE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GTE, etc).
