7mgte block with no oil squirts??

What exactly do they squirt to. just right at the underside of the piston for the only reason being cooling or also to spray the walls for lube

Yep, I have no problem with oil squirters, myself. I believe the stock spring pressure is something like 37-39 psi, so they won't even open until you open her up and let the good times roll :)

As mentioned, a good oil cooler is a must for a high performance turbocharged vehicle - it should remove that extra heat with no problems :)

Early 1986 7M-GTE blocks didn't have oil squirters, by the time we got the 7M-GTE here in North America, all GTE blocks were equipped. (Oil squirters were added for 08/86, the first month of our "87" models).

Most of Toyota's higher performance engines from the late-80's to now have squirters. (7M-GTE, 3S-GTE, 4A-GE (1990+), 2ZZ-FE, 1JZ-GTE, 2JZ-GTE, etc).
