7mge white smoke out da tailpipe

jus installed a used jdm 7MGE. hooked everything up right. did the timing. set it to 13 degrees starts up fine nice and strong. ALOT of white smoke comes oout the exhaust. i figure its normal so i let it run for a few minutes and it does not stop. lots and lots of white smoke. previous engine HG blew.

Did you do a compression check?

no. i dont have that tool. the dealer i bought the engine from said the HG was ok. but still i prolly should check compression. where would i get the compression check tool

I bought mine from autozone. After I finally got tired of chasing my tail. I could of saved so much time. I checked cold start injector, fuel pump,cps,Tps,plugs ..... You get the idea. $35 bucks But they also have one thats a little cheaper. It's a good tool to have with these damn 7m's.

Sry bout the engine bro, you have a warranty sometimes its just safer to get a new one. Its a bit of a pain to take out in put in but better safe then sorry.

i have t bit of white smoke at start up on cold days. rpms drop a little bit i let rev it up to 3k and the smoke stops. Also sometimes when i press the breaks really hard it smokes as well. what could cause this..?

Whats the break fluid level like?
IS it white smoke or clearish white smoke like when you breath outside when its cold?

Did you do any maintenance to the "new" motor? Or did you just slap it into the engine bay?
