I've recently transplanted a 7m-ge out of a 1987 supra in to my 1985 4runner. The swap is more or less complete except the engine doesn't run righ, but thats for another post.
My 4runner is equipped 4.88 gears, lockers front and rear, a three inch lift and super swampers. The 7m is replacing the rather anemic 22-re.
