Hi, im new to supramania.com i just recently bought a 88 supra N/A! SO EXCITED! Anyways i bought it with a blown headgasket so I took off the head and re surfaced the head, and replaced the headgasket. I was suprised to fine that everything looked brand new the cams, new waterpump, pulleys, basically the whole top end. Even the head looked like it was in really good shape. It has 230,000 miles on it. Is it normall for the motors to look so clean? And the pistons were still really tight and looked really clean. The person who i bought it from had it donated to there church. Didnt know anything about the car. Sorry I thought I would give you guys a little background about the car. If you havent noticed im very excited. This is my dream car. But my problem is under the intake manifold there is a red plug and a clear plug that I have no Idea where they go. Im an idiot and didnt mark anything I got way to excited. Does anyone have like a picture showing where these wires go? Or know where to find it in the book? Thanks for your time and have a nice day

Congrats on the new Supra! Its not uncommon for these engines to be clean and in good shape if the previous owner properly maintained it, but then again, how common is that :p.

There are red/white clips that go to all the injectors, but the red/white connectors under the intake most likely go to your VSV's, they look like this.

Of course it will be mounted somewhere under the intake though.
