7mge head bolts????

i cant find out if they are tourqe to yield bolts or not and i cant find them anywhere can anyone shine some light on this for me

None of the fasteners on the 7M's are torque to yeild.

exactly and plus they were never touqed to the right specs anyway so they should be fine

ok so im shaving the head and eventually going to get some high compression pistons do you think ill need the new bolts or arp studs or will the stock ones retorqued be fine

I would get some ARP Studs for the added piece of mind.

There's no issue with re-using the stock bolts. Use them if you are going with a stock head gasket, just make sure you inspect them for damage, make sure the bolt holes are clean and aren't full of water, and coat the threads lightly with oil before putting them in and torqueing them.

The stock headbolts are as strong as the 2JZ head bolts, if you think it is an issue.

I had heard that they were yield and shouldn't be used twice. I reused stock bolts on a 7GE and they loosened up so I went with ARP bolts. I wouldn't get studs unless you are thinking of going turbo later on because they are a little overkill.
