These cars are so old that unless you've had it from new it could have been changed anytime....

Every single NA I've ever seen had the Blue Clutch.

My '88 NA has a green one, too. I bought the car when it was 5 years old, so it's possible it was changed from original, but unlikely. Maybe the NAs with the sport package (like mine) got green fan clutches?

That doesn't include the rest of the world, but as there are two different part numbers there is a possibility of having two different colors.

Though the autoparts store will tell you otherwise as they only have one part number for the fan clutch (and I swear it might actually be smaller than the N/A clutch) :nono:

Not only that, but the 7M Cressida has a standard duty and heavy duty from Toyota. At least they used to have it.

Tundra clutch fan part number? :)

I'm not sure what the part number is, but I'd sell the Tundra clutch that I have pictured in my above post if someone were to throw some $$ my way. ;)

That said, I was so impressed with the Tundra clutch, that I ended up buying a brand new GTE clutch from Champion Toyota not long after buying the Tundra Clutch. The Tundra clutch seemed to have problems spinning the 10 blade fan, as a Tundra only uses a 7 blade fan. I didn't want to downgrade my fan, so I upgraded to a new GTE clutch.

If you don't want to drop the coin for a new GTE clutch, and would rather purchase a used Tundra clutch like I once did; make sure you have a 7 blade fan to mount on it. The 10 blade fan doesn't work so well with it.

The 3.4 V6 had two clutches (maybe more). The Tundra, and the Tacoma with the 5000 lb tow package, instead of the 3500 lb standard tow package. The3500 lb tow package was orange, the 5000 lb tow was green. Remember, that was more than half a decade ago, and color should not be the choice maker.

I was under the impression that the Tundra fan clutch would be beefier. Nevermind! Now to look for a GTE clutch.

Can also take your old gte fan clutch and replace the fluid in it. Much cheaper than buying a new clutch.
