Previous owner before last stripped tranny crossmember so they put a nut on the end of the bolts where you have to have someone in the car on one nut and one on the other:

Very nice work!

I wish i had a freakin lift like that for my project!

I can't take credit for the mods I bought it like that (from FLAsupra great seller btw) and he and I talked about it and it seems to have had some crankwalk due to the previous owner before last who had to much of a clutch in the car.......As for the lift well....gald my dad's a mechanic who just got a new lift because the 20 y.o. pos before it quit working and almost threw a car off. :)

More to come it took my dad 3 hours to dig out the crank pulley and crap but we finally got it, today we got the crank out (more pics tomorrow no camera today), its bad and somehow the previous owner before last DID NOT INSTALL THRUST BEARINGS!!!! Anyway I've ordered a crank and ordering gaskets tomorrow this project is scootin faster than I would have thought.

Blue Steel Rules........................:biglaugh:

Are you going 1jz? Did you buy a clip or just the engine if you are going 1jz. The title reads like you are.

I will eventually put in a 1jz engine set but I want to try a big single 7m first.

IT IS MY USER NAME NO 1JZ SORRY, I would change the title if I could.

That car will clean up nice.....good find!

Stock rods with arp rod bolts, have them shot peened and resized.

Get an accurate measurement on the inducer/exducer of that compressor wheel and i'll tell you what turbo. It looks like an older t-series, t-61, t-66???
