Why does it seem like everyone wants to go FF?

What's the benefit or rush to go FF?

I'm asking a question as I'd really like to know (learn) why. Thanks.

Im goin FF soon enough. Less piping, Cleaner engine bay and you can use a normal style intercooler so there more choices. those are my reasons. Other than the obvious. More airflow, better throttle response.

Also a nice time to go with a bigger throttle body :)

Makes it way easier to change plugs/injectors/etc.

Also, throttle linkage is vastly simplified.

its fun to upgrade a bunch of things at once. like smoothing the valvecovers and installing is300 coils, custom IC pipes and a nice 65mm BBK throttle body, powdercoating everything so its pretty...

FFMIC...

Front Facing Mount Inter Cooler?

Front Facing Manifold Inter Cooler?

:aigo: I'm confused.

I'll 100% assume you're talking about ***FFIM*** since MA70's come stock with FMIC's. :icon_surp

A simple list of pro's to FFIM:

-Shorter piping = More responsive, typically will spool quicker.
-Piping that needs to be cool is further away from the several hundred degrees turbo.
-DOES indeed clean up the engine bay.
-You can fool people with the "2JZ No Sh*t?" comments sometimes. :biglaugh: (Joking)
-More power!!!! :)

Enraged - Can you enlighten me (us) on the IS300 Coils conversion?
I can't say I'm too familiar with that...
