I replaced my air filter with a K&N FIPK, and when I had the old assembly out I noticed a lone wire with a white plug sitting at the bottom near the curvature of the wheelwell with nothing plugged into it. I checked a friend's Supra, and he has it plugged in and running in through the wheelwell, but can't see where it goes from there. I'll try and post a pic up later today, but it is the only wire with a white plug down there, and it's directly underneath the air filter at the bottom of the engine. Anybody have an idea of what is supposed to be plugged in there?

Sounds like the wheels speed sensor for the ABS. 2 wire plug whit in color. Should run into the wheel well, and end at the spindle (the wheel speede sensor.)

^^^ Yep ABS sensor sounds like to me too.

Other wires / plugs in the area is the (2) pressure switches for the A/C, and the 3rd fan relay / control (fan in front of the condenser) for a auto- turbo supra.

So, the next logical question would be... "Do I even need to worry about it?" I haven't even checked yet to see if there's another one connected on the driver's side, could it be the former owner excised the ABS, and why? (Possible if he unplugged the other side...)

depends if you want working ABS, or even if it has ABS.

Working ABS = need the sensor (all of them) working.

No ABS (not working) = no need for the sensor.
