7M-GTE - Should I shim the oil pump?

New and shim. That is what i did for my rebuild. New oem pump from Toyota ($189 
)and installed Alum. 7mm shim I made on the lathe. I read about supra owners on here using 5mm all the way to 10mm. So i went in the middle of them and went with 7mm
