7M-GTE Head

Got a strange question and I'd like some opinions.
I have 2 7M-GTE heads for my '89. Neither has been machined, so thickness is not an issue. I'm planning on reworking both at different times, but here's my quandry. I've got one that shows warpage in the cam journals with a straight edge, but the bottom (sealing area for the head gasket) is relatively flat.
Don't want to run into problems at high R's or high boost. Has anyone had luck with line boring the cam journals or am I wasting my time with this head?
Thanks in advance

Probably have it TIGed or heliarced before the line bore.
I could MIG the journals, but my spool gun is not as good as I'd like for that work (could however be the operator....)

Thats so much work, they would have to grind all the caps down, machine the valve cover surface, then line bore it and re-fit the cams, then you have to find shims thin enough to actually work with the new setup, and its really not worth it, good heads are cheap to come by. Not to mention if its warped that bad chances are someone overheated it bad, which would also mean the aluminum would be soft and useless.
