7mgte 3 liter straigt 6 single turbo 83? mm bore, 91 mm stroke 6500 red line 232 hp 254 tq. runs low 15's known to go through head gaskets

1jz 2.5 liter straight 6 twin turbo 86mm bore 71 mm stroke 7200 red line 280 hp 270 tq.? runs low 14's know to go through stock twins

7m you can probably find parts more readily for.

so the 1jz is a better choice and what does a 1jz supra go for

1JZ is generally a more reliable motor. JZ-series (1JZ, and 2JZ) are known to be badass in lamest terms. If I had the choice of either a 7m or 1JZ i'd most likely go for the 1JZ. It supposedly to cost around $4k to $5k to do a complete running 1jz swap not including the car.

1jz was available in Japan only - any 1J you see here in the states is the product of a swap or was a RHD car shipped here.
