Under your given circumstances and likely scenario, it's probably best that you just replace with another well conditioned 7M-GE.
Why, you ask?
Time: It is going to be a much simpler process and less time consuming.
Knowledge: It's probably best that you do 100% research to find out what you're getting yourself into with a 7M-GTE or a force inductioned motor for that matter.
Down the road, as it's been said, you can do the famous NA-T swap on your current motor, or, once you get another daily driver or have more time, take your time converting to a GTE motor.
Whatever you do, don't half-ass anything or rush the job.
It's bad enough that you're dealing with 15-20 year old parts anyways.
